When we feel seen, understood, and valued by another person it makes the rest of the world more manageable. This bond happens between partners when we can turn toward each other and feel completely safe and know that we are not alone. Relationships start out with this hope. But for many couples disagreement and conflict over time diminishes this feeling of connection, the sense of oneness. When there is discord in our relationships it can leave us feeling alone and excruciatingly vulnerable. And the more couples try and fail to reconnect the more isolating our relationships become.
It can feel hopeless to repair a connection when so much hurt has been exchanged. Seeking outside support in that process has helped many couples restore the trust in their relationships. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I want to offer hope, clear direction and inspiration to bring safety and affection back into your life together.
I’m here to help.
I am the owner and only therapist of this practice so you will work with me directly. Strengthening marriages is my passion and my life’s mission. I want to know what are your biggest struggles in your relationship right now, and figure out the fastest and most effective way to change them forever. I understand not being able to see past today when today feels so terrible, I totally get that. But I am also thinking about your future selves in 10, 20, 30 years from now. What changes do we have to make right now, that will set you up for that bright and happy future that I want for both of you?
The research on lasting relationships tells us we need to focus on 3 things: building a foundation of a strong friendship, managing differences and conflicts effectively, and building a sense of shared meaning in your life together. I have the tools to show you how to do those three things in your relationship right now and many more…
