Love and connection with others is the foundation that life is built upon. When we feel seen, understood, and valued by another person it makes the rest of the world more manageable. This attachment happens between partners when we can turn toward each other and feel completely safe and know that we are not alone. Relationships start out with this hope. But for many couples disagreement and conflict over time diminishes this feeling of connection, the sense of oneness. When there is discord in our relationships it can leave us feeling alone and excruciatingly vulnerable. And the more couples try and fail to reconnect the more isolating our relationships become.
It can feel hopeless sometimes to try and repair a connection when so much hurt has been exchanged. Seeking outside support in that process has helped many couples restore the trust in their relationships. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I want to offer hope, direction and inspiration to bring safety and affection back into your life together.
I’m here to help.
